Founded in 1782, Jarvis Memorial UMC is the oldest Methodist congregation in Greenville, NC.  Jarvis Memorial is proudly United Methodist today and is recognized by the NCCUMC as a Lighthouse Congregation. We are committed to the care of those who wish to remain United Methodist. We seek to be a haven of peace and hospitality through worship, discipleship, mission, sacrament, and pastoral care. Chili and Cheer: Preparing for a Season of Light
Join our gathering on Sunday, November 30, (12:00-2:00) the first Sunday of Advent for food, fellowship and fun: wreath-making. This is a single service Sunday (11:00 am) in the Sanctuary.

Fair Trade Market
The Fair Trade Christmas Market (A project of NC Stop Human Trafficking) is coming to Jarvis on Sunday, December 7. Nativities, ornaments, jewelry, purses and other gifts from around the world will be available. These artisans are paid a fair, living wage and buying Fair Trade Certified products provides jobs for vulnerable people, and provides beautiful and unique gifts for your loved ones. If you will not be at Jarvis that Sunday, please support them by shopping online at www.fairtradersproject.org.

Poinsettias
Poinsettias decorate the Sanctuary Chancel and TCLC throughout the season of Advent. Poinsettias may be purchased in honor or in remembrance of your loved ones for $10 each. Orders must be completed by December 14.  Write “Poinsettia” on the check memo line or envelope for cash and turn it into the church office/offering box along with an order form on the back table.
