Founded in 1782, Jarvis Memorial UMC is the oldest Methodist congregation in Greenville, NC.  Jarvis Memorial is proudly United Methodist today and is recognized by the NCCUMC as a Lighthouse Congregation. We are committed to the care of those who wish to remain United Methodist. We seek to be a haven of peace and hospitality through worship, discipleship, mission, sacrament, and pastoral care. "I am a cradle United Methodist, born and raised in a Baltimore suburb. Doug and I
married in 2001 and are blessed with 2 incredible kids, Mikayla (22) and Andy (17). Mik
earned her Master’s then headed to Disney World (a fun job before fully adulting); AJ
has one more semester of high school and is discerning where to study after
graduation. My passions include God, people (esp. my family & friends), animals, the
beach, Disney, reading, photography, musicals, traveling, and food. I’m a 2 nd career
pastor (Duke Divinity c/o 2020) who’s served in Goldsboro, Wendell, and now
Greenville. I cannot wait to learn your story and do ministry & life with you!"
