Manna Bag Ministry: Each day an average of 25 Manna Bags are given to those in need from our front door. Feel free to bring items to the church office or send them directly from your preferred delivery service/retail. We thank you for your generosity.

Community Thanksgiving Service

Join us in the Sanctuary for a Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 23 (4:00 pm).


Advent and Christmas (Yep, it’s that time again!)

Join us in decorating the chur for Advent & Christmas on Monday, November 24 at 2:30. pm.


Chili and Cheer: Preparing for a Season of Light.

Let’s gather on Sunday, November 30 (12:00-2:00) on the first Sunday of Advent for food, fellowship and wreath- making. This is a single service Sunday (11:00 am). 


Fair Trade Market

The Fair Trade Christmas Market (A project of NC Stop Human Trafficking) is coming to Jarvis on Sunday, December 7. Nativities, ornaments, jewelry, purses and other gifts from around the world will be available. These artisans are paid a fair, living wage and buying Fair Trade Certified products provides jobs for vulnerable people, and provides beautiful and unique gifts for your loved ones. If you will not be at Jarvis that Sunday, please support them by shopping online at www.fairtradersproject.org


Poinsettias

Poinsettias will decorate the Chancel and TCLC throughout the season of Advent. Poinsettias may be purchased in honor or in remembrance of your loved ones for $10 each. Orders must be completed by December 14.  Write “Poinsettia” on the memo line or envelope for cash or check payments and turn it into the church office/offering box along with an order form on the back table.
