Written in 2012, today’s anthem, “I Believe” by Mark A. Miller, a composer and organist. The communion responses we sing were composed by him. In addition, he was one of the musicians with the UMC General conference held in 2024 in Charlotte, NC. These lyrics are based on an anonymous Jewish poem found scratched on the walls of a cellar in Cologne, Germany during World War II. Mark Miller has dedicated this music in loving memory of his sister, Mary Beth Miller, 1963-2009.
