Words from Dan Forrest regarding composing No Night There, today’s anthem. Composing this in 2022, several passages of Scripture came together for him. “God is for us” - from Psalm 118:6, reminds us God is always with us, “Do not be afraid” (Psalm 23:4). No matter what we are facing, God is there. God assures his people with words of comfort and hope. “No night there” - God promises a renewed heaven and earth, one with no night, no crying, no pain or death. God is always with us and will wipe away every tear from our eyes. May these words and this anthem bring comfort to you.
