Ways to Welcome Pastor Joseph Park and his Family
Begin praying daily for Joseph, Mimi, Samuel and Sowon.
Send cards and words of welcome and encouragement.
Give a gift certificate to your favorite restaurant.
Invite them to gatherings such as Sunday School or other groups in the early months.
Get to know them informally through lunch/dinner.
Introduce yourself repeatedly.
Combined Service and Brunch We are having a Single Service Sunday, 9am on Labor Day weekend, 9/6/26 in the TCLC. Bring your appetite - brunch and fellowship follows the 9am service!
Raleigh Ringers concert is TODAY, 4pm in the TCLC! We still have some seats available if you want to bring a friend and purchase tickets at the door. Seating is open seating and doors open for seating at 3:30. We look forward to seeing you at the concert!
New Groups!
There are two new groups starting up soon at Jarvis. The New Members class will start on 9/6/26 at the Brunch, look for your table and get to know new church family members. The remainder of the classes will meet in the parlor during the Sunday School hour.
The Young Adult Small Group will meet on 9/13/26 at 6pm upstairs in the TCLC.
JAMMS is back! Children in K-5th grade will gather in the prayerground space upstairs 9/13/26, 4-5:30pm. (Note date change with Labor Day Holiday.)
Ice Cream Social and Welcoming of Pastor Joseph and his family with the Chill Out Challenge! Come show off your homemade ice cream creations, taste and sample other’s creations, and enjoy time with your church family. September 20th at 3:30 in the TCLC.
Manna Bag Ministry: Each day an average of 25 Manna Bags are given to those in need from our front door. Feel free to bring items to the church office or send them directly from your preferred delivery service/retail. We thank you for your generosity. Volunteers are needed, please contact the church office.
