Camp Don Lee Day Retreat
Jarvis United Methodist Men and Living the Adventure Sunday School Class are sponsoring a retreat at Camp Don Lee May 2. The cost is $24 per person, payable through the church office by April 17. Noah’s Ark with Children, Youth and Handbells
Mark the afternoon of May 3 as a time you want to be in the TCLC at Jarvis. Our JAMMS children will present a story with Noah’s Ark. Our Youth and Handbells will tell the story through drama and music. More to come - but it’s a time you do not want to miss.
Miracle Sunday
Miracle Sunday is a global effort in the UNITED Methodist Church (30,000 congregations worldwide) to help raise up 500 new pastors across Africa, Europe, and the Philippines. Through this effort, we seek to address a long standing disparity. Seventy-one percent (71%) of U.S. clergy hold a master’s degree, compared to only five percent (5%) outside the U.S. by establishing an Endowment for Clergy Theological Education. This initiative will help close the gap and support the development of strong, well-prepared leaders across our global connection. The North Carolina Conference’s goal is 90% participation among the churches. Let's be one of those churches!
